ncql annouces himself in no uncertain fashion with the anthemic strings of >the framed dreams of loki<. the track nods to dj premier, prefuse 73 and classic metalheadz d&b hidden agenda style and theres a subtle (!) reference to a certain classic 90s rave tune in there aswell. it sounds like a mess – its anything but! this is uplifting breakbeat at its very best. its not often a tune gets played twice by bailey on his bbc 1xtra show in the space of a month, so this must be something special. the flipside has a similar organic & uplifting aesthetic. a strutting break is the base for a deluge of warmth in the shape of synths, strings, flutes, harp and vocals – an unusual sound palette for a drum & bass track these days but refreshing to hear. dj flight thought so and has aired it on one of her next chapter rinse fm broadcasts.

ltd coloured edition!! with catalog number 006 another techno legend joins the killekill family. neil landstrumm is with no doubt one of the big heroes of techno. with several albums and uncount-able singles released on renowned labels like tresor, peacefrog and planet &#956,,,, he has definitely written techno history. and this does not even count in his own label scandinavia, which released music of high prolific techno artists such as cristian vogel, tobias schmidt, adam x and many more. although having produced his first records in the early nineties neil landstrumm is in no way an old school producer! he has produced a few top notch dubstep records in the last years (released on planet &#956,,,) and is just now being one of the producers pushing the boundaries of the post dubstep uk bass sound and is also being featured on the nonplus label being run by no one else but boddika. for killekill neil landstrumm has delivered a handful of tracks which combine his typical dirty techno sound with the aesthetics of uk bass. extremely funky and with a big drop of acid they cross over electro, techno and even hip hop and therewith fit perfectly to the sound of our label. the co-production of weirdo mastermind si begg on touch it just adds the icing on the cake.

emerging elements is adepths new ep of diverse, quality electronic music produced by talented dutch artists. its adepth audios seventh release and showcases the work of four of these artists and producers. mila by dan9er is reminiscent of classic chicago house, with its striking, angular bassline. the track is an homage to mila. dan grains in a beautiful world is a track from another dimension—expansive and melodic, incorporating sounds which suggest detroit-inspired music from mid-90s amsterdam. the luxuriant sound of true indentity is relaxing techno for the after hours, again proving rob belleville is one of the most detroit-inspired talents of the netherlands. détaché is a young producer determined to record fresh sounds influenced by detroit, deep house and modern techno. shapes & shadows is his most recent work, and features great bass variations and warm, relaxing synthesiser chords.

with catalog number 006 another techno legend joins the killekill family. neil landstrumm is with no doubt one of the big heroes of techno. with several albums and uncount-able singles released on renowned labels like tresor, peacefrog and planet &#956,,, he has definitely written techno history. and this does not even count in his own label scandinavia, which released music of high prolific techno artists such as cristian vogel, tobias schmidt, adam x and many more. although having produced his first records in the early nineties neil landstrumm is in no way an old school producer! he has produced a few top notch dubstep records in the last years (released on planet &#956,,) and is just now being one of the producers pushing the boundaries of the post dubstep uk bass sound and is also being featured on the nonplus label being run by no one else but boddika. for killekill neil landstrumm has delivered a handful of tracks which combine his typical dirty techno sound with the aesthetics of uk bass. extremely funky and with a big drop of acid they cross over electro, techno and even hip hop and therewith fit perfectly to the sound of our label. the co-production of weirdo mastermind si begg on touch it just adds the icing on the cake.
